It took some practice, but after getting better signups for our raids we did see some great progress the last few raids. Last night the Lich King was defeated on our last attempt of the evening. Well done everyone that was there, but also thanks to everyone that has been there earlier to learn the fight. Don't worry too much if you missed the takedown, we will kill him again even now that we are going to have fun on hardmodes.

Nine weeks have passed since Icecrown Citadel opened back in december. Many things ahve happened in Northwind Gale in this period and some of these are the reason for the lack of update of this frontpage. Even thought we have been through some hard times we have progressed with a decent pace and will soon see the Lich King. Below is the list of takedown so far.

A couple of months has past since the last update, but that doesn't mean that nothing has happened. First of all we have said welcome to a series of IAE raiders. As our own raiding roster was starting to look a bit thin it was a great opportunity we got to boost our chances of conquering the last content of 3.2. Along with a few other recruitments and a lot of long term Northwind Gale raiders we managed to kill four of the five Trail of the Crusader bosses before the release of Icecrown Citadel. This brings us in the top 4 alliance guilds on Tarren Mill with only one alliance guild taking down Anub'arak before the patch.

This is where we want to be as the "serious casual raiding guild" we are. Now we all want to prepare for more fun in Icecrown Citadel over the next months to come. Anub shouldn't feel safe below the tournament grounds though.

 

Yet another Ulduar 25 man hardmode is completed by our raiding team. Wonderful dps was obviously the key to this, but everyone is clearly showing that they want to get these hardmodes done. Great job everyone.
